Shrekism - The religious breakthrough
Our founder wanted a religion he did not feel trapped in.
He felt that religion was like a box, trapping you inside. That is why he created Shrekism.
One day on a bus journey home, he had a religious awakening. Shrek came to him in a vision and told him to, 'spread the word' This lead him to create the religious breakthrough known as Shrekism.
Our beliefs
We believe in something very simple; Shrek is love, Shrek is life.
We believe that Shrek brought life to the universe, the universe formed when the big bang happened and Shrek was created, spreading life to all corners of the universe. Shrek is the father of everyone, the films were a mere depiction of Shrek in his daily life off-world. Knowing about Shrek and his teachings are very important for those who who want to learn why they are here. You may not believe in this but trust me, it's very real.
Not only is Shrek wonderful, but his friends are too, other 'gods' include: Donkey, Puss in Boots, Pinocchio, The 3 Little Pigs and many more!
Our supporters are very open minded and will believe all that Shrek tells them.
